Washington Capitals vs Detroit Red Wings
This was the first game between the Wings and Blackhawks since Chicago forward Patrick Sharp inadvertently speared Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom in the testicles in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. But Lidstrom doesn’t hold any grudges. He was impressed that Sharp called him to apologize after the Stanley Cup finals.
